In this book, GianCarlo Ghirardi aims to spread knowledge of the theory and its interpretation to such read- ers, without giving up anything on the level of conceptual rigour. The book is written in a conversational style, and the author makes a special effort to orient the reader and put things in historical con- text. As Ghirardi notes, the text is not an easy read’. But, the pre- sentation is clear, comprehensive and accessible for the most part to those with a high school background in mathematics and who are willing to make the effort of reading it carefully. The result is an impressive, non-technical introduction to quantum mechanics, in terms of both its breadth and rigour. Ghirardi introduces the readers to quantum mechanics by illus- trating the radical implications of one of the most innovative features of quantum TI - Quantum Mysteries For Everyone JF - Metascience DO - 10.1007/s11016-007-9162-1 DA - 2008-01-22 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/quantum-mysteries-for-everyone-T0Lg23hhj3 SP - 85 EP - 89 VL - 17 IS - 1 DP - DeepDyve ER -
