TY - JOUR AU - Du, Jiaqi AB - With the development of the national economy, there is an increasing demand for lens grinding in fields such as aviation, navigation, and automotive, which requires higher precision and efficiency in lens grinding processes. This has led to higher requirements for the performance and efficiency of JP precision grinding and polishing machines. In order to meet this demand, this paper proposes a design for a JP three-axis precision grinding and polishing machine specifically designed for lens processing. The maximum lens size is 20 centimeters. The machine is designed using SolidWorks software and includes six parts: the bed body component, main shaft component assembly, swing shaft component assembly, electrical control system, surround panel combination, and other accessory combinations (such as hose-type work lights and machine bed iron assemblies). By providing a detailed introduction to these components, the paper explains the design concept, structural characteristics, and working principle of the polishing machine. The main shaft component assembly and swing shaft component assembly include components such as a reduction motor, sliding coupling, main swing shaft sleeve, spherical mirror fixture, and eccentric wheel assembly, which enable the rotation and eccentric motion of the main and swing shafts, thereby achieving precision grinding and polishing of the lens. The surround panel combination assembly controls the main and swing shafts through an electrical control switch and can adjust the amplitude of the swing shaft to meet different processing requirements. The hose-type work light provides illumination and facilitates the operator's observation of the processing situation. The cross-slot semi-sunk head screw nut combination and the machine bed iron assembly are used to fix and support the various components of the polishing machine, ensuring its stability and reliability. With these designs and assemblies, the polishing machine can achieve efficient lens grinding and improve production efficiency.
