TY - JOUR AU1 - ISHII,, Yoshifumi AU2 - MORI,, Michio AB - Abstract Nuclear bodies in lymphocytic cells from normal mouse lymph nodes were examined with the electron microscope. They were observed in an average of 17.6% of lymphocytic cells in thin sections. The nuclear bodies in these cells are classified into several types depending on the degree of ultrastructural complexities. These different types appear to represent the sequence of their development because of the existence of numerous transitional forms indicating a certain morphological unity of these bodies. It seems likely that the nuclear bodies in lymphocytic cells develope from their simple form into more complex structure. In addition, this paper discusses the cytochemical nature of the nuclear bodies in lymphocytic cells and they are compared with those described in the literature regarding this problem.
