Medzinskaya UDC 66.011.56:621.78 At the Novosibirsk Design Institute we have developed a semi-auto- matic line for heat treatment of cutting tools. The singularity of this line is the use of programmed automatic conveyor equipment. The semi-automatic line of heat treatment of cutting tools (see o ~.~ figure) is meant for quenching, tempering, and chemical cleaning of tools 0 ~ 0 of different shapes and sizes, conical milling cutters, worm cutters, ~2. a chisels, etc.). The construction of the suspended conveyor with universal hangers l-a makes it possible to hold articles of any shape or cross section between 10 ~.o and 100 mm. The conveyor uses various transport mechanisms (chain con- veyor, rod conveyor, reciprocal motion mechanism, automatic conveyor mechanism, suspended conveyor). Suspension makes it possible to remove the articles from the hangers with an automatic device without the need for an operator. The mechanism of the reciprocal motion of the loading table transports the suspended articles through the line. The hangers with "the tools are moved in the baths by a pneumatic rod conveyor. The hangers with the tools are moved from bath to bath by an auto- matic device of the cantilever TI - Automation of the heat treatment of cutting tools JF - Metal Science and Heat Treatment DO - 10.1007/BF00648011 DA - 2004-10-30 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/automation-of-the-heat-treatment-of-cutting-tools-ScGqKJCFt0 SP - 657 EP - 657 VL - 8 IS - 8 DP - DeepDyve ER -
