AB - The test results demonstrated the high effectiveness of the use of high-temperature filters with a sorbent charge based on titanium dioxide to remove iron corrosion products from hot water, and the reliability of the high-temperature treatment unit under all operating conditions. The unit has been recommended for further operation as a standard tool for maintaining the water-chemistry regime in the third loop of the power-generating unit of the BN-600. However, the values of the results obtained go beyond the framework of the question of the utility of the unit solely for the Beloyarsk Atomic Power Plant, since they provide grounds for the extensive introduction of this treatment process at atomic power plants and heat-and-electric plants.
