AB - The PbS-Al solar panel absorbs 0.90 of the incident solar energy at sea level while having a 258°C blackbody emissivity of 0.038. This value can be achieved in a reproducible manner on aluminum-coated aluminum substrates with a single layer of PbS evaporated in standard vacuum to a thickness of 1100 Α.
