TY - JOUR AU - Zainutdinov, R. AB - The difference in diameter of the tires of the rollers of the upper and lower rows leads to slippage of the tire of the first upper roller on the rail during straightening. Figure 2 shows the relationship of the wear of the tire of this roller of the No. 2 machine to the difference in diameters of the tires of the first lower and upper rollers, determined on the basis of shop measurements in the course of a week. A difference in diam- eters of up to 1~ mm has an insignific~mt effect on the intensity o3 wear while with a difference in diameters of more than 1.5 mm the wear of the tire of the upper roller increases sharply. On the tires of the No. 3 machine the wear is less because of the lower pressures on the rollers. The maximum wear (0.71 mm/day) is on the tire of the first roller from the input side of the machine and the minimum (0.38 ram/day) is on the last, the sixth. An analysis showed that the wear of the roller straightener tires corresponds approximately to the pressure on the rollers occurring in straightening rails in the planes of main TI - An electric drive for crane mechanisms with smooth speed control JF - Metallurgist DO - 10.1007/BF01135178 DA - 2005-01-26 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/an-electric-drive-for-crane-mechanisms-with-smooth-speed-control-RajOJEgIrQ SP - 564 EP - 567 VL - 20 IS - 8 DP - DeepDyve ER -
