Eriklintsev On planning tube-drawing production it is necessary to study a large number of standard dimensions of pipes which have different characteristics when manufactured using the same machinery, This is particularly important for developing automatic control system of production (ACSP). The technical possibilities of modern electronic computers and applied mathematical methods call for a classification of product ranges and selection of dimension prototypes. In each class, this should be done so that the best solution obtained by means of a standard prototype is also the best for the developed program. This paper deals with methods of classifying product ranges and selecting dimension prototypes in each class for a system of automatic operational calender planning of the production in tube-drawing departments which is being developed by VNITI (The All-Union Scientific-Research Institute of Pipes) in collaboration with PNTZ (The Pervoural%kii Novotrubnyi Works). To facilitate the classification of product ranges, it is necessary to standardize the flow process routes of stan- dard dimensions TI - Classification of product ranges when planning and organizing production in tube-drawing departments JF - Metallurgist DO - 10.1007/BF01135315 DA - 2005-01-26 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/classification-of-product-ranges-when-planning-and-organizing-P6zUSmCjZO SP - 384 EP - 387 VL - 14 IS - 6 DP - DeepDyve ER -
