TY - JOUR AB - A number of larger type of fork lift trucks have recently been fitted with centralized lubrication systems. These are trucks manufactured by the Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company, Philadelphia, and the centralized systems have been manufactured by the Lincoln Engineering Company, St. Louis, Missouri. This system is designed to deliver, within 45 seconds, a predetermined amount of lubricant to each of 26 points. This system is regarded as a primary maintenance investment by all truck operators who have had it fitted and it is stated to reduce three troublesome truck operating expenses labour, outofoperation and overheads.
