AB - Abstract Some practical considerations on the sample treatment and GC/MS analysis of neurochemically important indoleamines and their metabolically related compounds art presented. Special emphasis is placed upon the processing of plcomole amount of such compounds in order to minimize sample adsorptions and/or losses at the various steps of the analytical procedure, including the dertvatizatlon step and the GC/MS interface.
