TY - JOUR AU - Martos, Eva AB - The effect of one week hospital and subsequent two months ambulatory dietary treatment was studied on lipid parameters of sera, on phospholipid composition of plasma and platelets, and on platelet aggregation. In the first phase the serum triglyceride level decreased significantly, but no further change could be shown later. Serum cholesterol decreased significantly during the hospitalization and remained on this level after the ambulatory treatment. HDL‐cholesterol didn't change at first, but later rose significantly. Following the ambulatory treatment a decreasing tendency can be seen, in plasma total phospholipids, but at the end of the two months it approaches the baseline value. The platelet phospholipid content didn't change during the first week, but later reduced significantly. Platelet aggregation decreased, but it was pronounced only after the two months' dietary period.
