TY - JOUR AU - Beale, Major P J AB - A case is presented of false aneurysm formationo f the common carotid artery occurring in a young soldier 8 months after his original injury, and immediately preceded by a severe hemiplegia. The relative frequency of such aneurysms is given, and also an account of the frequency of neurological complications from carotid arterial injuries. A possible explanation is given of the timing of events in this particular case, and the problem of follow-up is discussed.
