Kryuchkov UDC 666.5.032.4 Slip casting technology is widely used in the ceramics industry since products of any desired configuration can be obtained according to it. The method of series (battery) slip casting finds a wide range of applications in the production of porcelain and faience products. This method is less laborious as compared to the method of casting using separate molds. However, in view of the movement of the heat carrier only towards the lateral surface, drying of the mold can not be combined with the process of settling (formation) of castings. As a result of this, the productivity of the production process of ceramic products decreases. The German firm 'Neich' developed a casting wheel (turntable machine) for carrying out series casting of handles of cups and mugs [i]. In this machine, the heat carrier washes not only the lateral surfaces of the molds in the battery, but also their end faces. This makes it possible to carry out drying of molds simultaneously with settling and setting of castings and to increase the productivity of the machine. However, using casting wheels TI - Optimizing the production process of ceramic products according to slip casting technology JF - Glass and Ceramics DO - 10.1007/BF00678685 DA - 2004-11-06 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/optimizing-the-production-process-of-ceramic-products-according-to-IYd2fIo06E SP - 67 EP - 70 VL - 48 IS - 2 DP - DeepDyve ER -
