AB - In /1, 2/ were described high-speed optomechanical instruments for recording fast proceses in a broad spectrum of 0.2 to 10.6 μm, viz., the photographic framing camera ZSFK-2 and the streak camera (chronometer) ZSKh-1. Both cameras employ optical reflector systems. Presenting considerable improvement over optomechanical means of recording fast processes that employ refractive lenses, the ZSFK-2 and ZSKh 1 cameras still need refinement of their design and improvements of basic performance parameters such as photographic resolution and frame size. It is also desirable to supplement these instruments with spectral adapter units for wide-range spectral investigation of fast processes.
