AB - Organodisilanes undergo a novel 1:2 cycloaddition reaction with butadiene or isoprene in the presence of a palladium complex. For example, the reaction of 1,1,2,2-tetramethy1-1,2-disilacyclopentane with isoprene gave 1,1,5,5,8,11-hexamethyl-l,5-disilacyclotrideca-7,11-diene in 76% yield.
