Abad-Zade The production of AI-93 gasoline is based mainly on components obtained in catalytic reforming, isomeriza- tion, and alkylation processes. All of the output of high-octane naphtha from catalytic cracking (52% of the total production) and part of the unutilized component from catalytic reforming (18.3%) are earmarked for use as blend- ing stocks in A-76 gasoline. In order to arrive at a more rational utilization of the resources of high-octane naphthas and to increase the output of AI-93 gasoline, studies have been directed toward the production of unleaded AI-93 gasoline that incor- porates the maximum possible amounts of components obtained in catalytic cracking and reforming. In Tables 1 and 2 we have listed the presently accepted formulation for the blending stocks used in com- pound At-93 gasoline and the recommended variant of this formulation, along with experimentally deter- mined and calculated octane numbers. As can be seen from the data of Table 2, the proposed variant will provide a yield of high-octane gasoline TI - Expanding the production of AI-93 and AI-98 high-octane automotive gasolines JF - Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils DO - 10.1007/BF00718350 DA - 2004-11-17 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/expanding-the-production-of-ai-93-and-ai-98-high-octane-automotive-HimZ3pLxOY SP - 762 EP - 764 VL - 11 IS - 10 DP - DeepDyve ER -
