Through KatrinaHealth.org authorized pharmacists and doctors can get records, including the specific dosages, of medications evacuees were using before the storm. This information will help evacuees renew their medications, and help health care professionals avoid prescription errors and help coordinate care. Because evacuees are spread out across the country, this information may be accessed from anywhere in the United States through KatrinaHealth.org. The information provided on this website is meant to complement, not substitute for, complete information provided to the doctor or pharmacist by his or her patient or client.
