TY - JOUR AU - AB - Existing eye control systems either are expensive or have high computational complexity, difficulties in realising and low detection rate. We propose an integrated and novel Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD) using macro infrared eye gaze tracking and spot detection algorithm that can help the limb-disabled people with healthy eyes. Clear black and white images of the pupil can be obtained by a micro-focus camera system and pre-processing software. We discuss pupil and spot detection method based on the improved Hough algorithm, and the black and white image of the pupil location algorithm, tracking pupil movement by eye tracking. Experimental results show that the proposed system has a higher accuracy than the existing methods.
