TY - JOUR AB - INFORMATION UDC 621:66.002.2 Steam Heated Flanged Angle Shutoff Valve with an Electric Actuator This valve (see F ig. 1) is used in piping for polyethylene and ethylene at fluid operating temperatures up to 300~ and pressures up to 2500 kg/cm 2. The valve is connected to the pipe by flanges: threaded inlet flange and studded outlet flange. The stem is sealed by a packing gland. The gland is tightened by an adjustable nut. The valve is heated by 30 kg/cm 2 steam. The operating fluid enters the valve under the seat. The valve can be operated by a VAOA12-4 electric actuator and by a manual backup hand wheel. The nominal power of the electric actuator is 0.6 kW. The shaft rotates at 1500 rpm and the time required to open and shut the valve is 5 sec. The valve can be installed in any position in the pipeline, with condensate drainage being essential. The main parts of the valve are fabricated of the following materials: body, gland, connecting rod, and adjustable nut of 38KhN3MFA steel; heating jacket of type 25 steel; stem of type 40 Kh steel; threaded bushing of Br.AZhMts 10-3-1.5 bronze; sealing ring of type 10 steel; TI - Production of new equipment JF - Chemical and Petroleum Engineering DO - 10.1007/BF01147733 DA - 2005-01-28 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/production-of-new-equipment-GPpwq6p072 SP - 946 EP - 948 VL - 8 IS - 10 DP - DeepDyve ER -
