TY - JOUR AU - Li, Yong AB - In this paper, the transfer matrix method (TMM) is developed for fluid-filled pipe vibration isolation system. The mathematical model of the support is established using the four-polo parameters method and the flexible base is used as the impedance boundary. The four-polo parameters and impedance are obtained by the finite element method (FEM). Drawing on the idea of the absorption transfer matrix method (ATMM), the support and flexible base are regarded as special branch pipe, and the overall transfer matrix of the system is established for frequency domain solution. The calculation results are compared with the results from the published literature and FEM to validate the accuracy of the method. And then the influences of support stiffness and damping on the forced vibration characteristics of the branch pipeline system are discussed, which can provide some reference for the vibration and noise control of pipe systems.
