TY - JOUR AU - Musser, J. H. AB - Mr. Florian Levy is a sufferer from Buerger's disease involving the upper extremities. The fingers have improved very much under active treatment, and the greatest relief has been given by baking. In order to secure a sufficiently long period of exposure to heat he was in the custom of baking his hands at night under the ordinary apparatus used for such purposes. This was found very inconvenient, as it was impossible to keep his hands for any length of time in the baker during sleep. He therefore devised the apparatus illustrated here, which is particularly valuable to him as he is a traveling salesman and it can be carried round in a very small space. The apparatus consists of a glove, with the fingers removed, fastened to a light board.
