Saenko The wet method, which has undergone considerable development in Soviet and foreign practice in recent years, is one of the simple and effective methods of cleaning the discharges from sintering machines. Wet-cleaning apparatus is comparatively cheap and has a higher trapping efficiency than dry mechanical apparatus. However, the product trapped by wet dust catchers is evolved as slime, which necessitates the processing of effluent and makes the cleaning process more expensive. In addition, hundreds of tons of valuable product which should be recovered and returned to the process are dumped in settling ponds. The necessity has therefore recently arisen to set up wet- cleaning systems which would combine a high degree of cleaning and the return of the trapped product to the proc- ess. It is well known that the process of sintering ore concentrates is accompanied by much dust evolution, espe- cially in the sintering machine discharge sector. After prolonged searches, tests, and investigations, an automatic system for cleaning and recovering the discharges from the output end of a sintering machine with TI - An automatic system for cleaning and recovery of sintering machnine discharges JF - Metallurgist DO - 10.1007/BF01135217 DA - 2005-01-26 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/an-automatic-system-for-cleaning-and-recovery-of-sintering-machnine-FAIpfeavo1 SP - 469 EP - 470 VL - 18 IS - 6 DP - DeepDyve ER -
