TY - JOUR AU1 - Ellenson, Lora Hedrick AB - EDITORIAL Lora Hedrick Ellenson s I step down from my role as Editor-in-Chief, I reflect on what has been an Aimmensely gratifying decade. It has been a deep honor to contribute to the ad- vancement of gynecologic pathology in this role and to witness the extraordinary commitment to scientific inquiry and diagnostic advancements made by so many talented colleagues. Over the past 10 years, the field of gynecologic pathology has evolved at an unprecedented pace. Advancements in molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, and most recently digital pathology have significantly expanded our understanding of gynecologic diseases, resulted in more precise diagnostic tools, and enhanced our collective knowledge of complex diseases and their pathology. The journal has strived to drive these changes by publishing novel and targeted research that not only informs current practices but also inspires further exploration. During my tenure, we introduced new features aimed at accelerating the pub- lication process through publish-ahead-of print. The journal also created novel sup- plemental issues in collaboration with, and sponsored by, the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists. The issues were focused on reviews and recom- mendations from the society to promote international conformity in the under- standing, diagnosis and reporting of gynecologic cancers.
