AB - The following article presents the results of experiments, aimed at studying the influence of selected technical and technological parameters upon the side deflection of the band saw blade (caused by the loss of stiffness) and their influence upon temperature of tooth-tip zone and cutting height. Non-contact methods were used for observation; optoelectronic methods by means of a linear CCD camera and temperature were recorded on the principle of thermal radiation of a subject — emissivity.
