A particularly large amount of labor is involved in this process when large-sized equipment is being manufactured, and manual control is practically impossible when appa- ratus with capacities of from 6.3 to 100 m 3 is being manufactured. The most advanced and high-quality method of checking the continuity of glass-enamel coatings is to use the high-frequency spark method. High-frequency manual spark-type defectosopes of various types (BIVID, t~DSP, etc.) are used in almost all the enameling plants that produce chemical apparatus. To mechanize the process of checking the continuity of glass-enamel coatings for large-sized apparatus, the Scientific Research Institute for Enameled Chemical Machinery has developed special equipment * with a photronic detector, which gives an automatic check on the surface of equipment coated with glass enamel. This equipment detects the defects, some dye is applied to mark the spot, the coordinates of the spot are marked on the chart of the recording voltmeter, and TI - Technical features involved in mechanized quality control of the coatings used in manufacturing enameled chemical tank equipment JF - Chemical and Petroleum Engineering DO - 10.1007/BF01146247 DA - 2005-01-28 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/technical-features-involved-in-mechanized-quality-control-of-the-DJmiGFduSp SP - 677 EP - 680 VL - 2 IS - 10 DP - DeepDyve ER -
