TY - JOUR AB - INFORMATION Type PT1/250 Triplex Pump UDC 621:66.002.2 The pump (see Fig. 1) is designed for transporting chemical reagents at temperatures not exceeding 100~ with a maximum viscosity of 50 cS. These fluids should not be corrosive to the materials of con- struction of the pump hydraulic section and must not contain solid mechanical particles. An electric motor drives the crankshaft-connecting rod mechanism through a V-belt transmission. The pump hydraulic sec- tion consists of the hydroblock (including suction, discharge, and relief valves), glands, and collectors. The pump and electric motor are mounted on a common baseplate. Drive gear parts are fabricated of gray cast iron and carbon steel, while the hydraulic section is fabricated of type 2Kh13 steel. Sleeve type seals are used for plunger sealing. Type 4004 rubber is used for the sealing elements (rings, sleeves).
