Solomonov UDC 66.067.362.004.86 In the series of different types and sizes of high-temperature FROS bag filters [I] used for trapping chemical reagents, special-purity materials and rare elements, regeneration of the filtering surface is done by back-flushing with compressed air (gas). This "gentle" regeneration method is necessary because of the low bending strength of the S120-12Khl8NIOT screen (GOST 3187) used as the filtering surface. In this case, regeneration of the filter is done periodically, section by section, by back-flushing with compressed air (gas) at a pressure of 0.2-0.3 MPa for 2-4 sec. Since the industry does not manufacture small shutoff devices with through cross sectional area 50 mm 2 for a compressed air pressure up to 0.3 MPa, 25ch32nzh (NZ) valves with membrane actuator were used in the fdters; these valves are designed for a nominal pressure of 1.6 MPa and have significant external dimensions (310 x 820 mm) and mass (30 kg). The inertia of the valve when operated leads to an extended pressure rise time for the purge air in the filter section and consequently a TI - Improved device for regeneration of high-temperature fros bag filters JF - Chemical and Petroleum Engineering DO - 10.1007/BF02430312 DA - 2006-05-16 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/improved-device-for-regeneration-of-high-temperature-fros-bag-filters-Csln1sWN5E SP - 696 EP - 698 VL - 33 IS - 6 DP - DeepDyve ER -
