TY - JOUR AU - Wojcechowski, D. AB - NEW METHODS AND EQU~MENT AN AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR SEISMIC DATA A~NALYSIS FOR EVALUATION OF THE BURST HAZARD OF A ROCK BED T. Mrozek, J. Tylec, and D. Wojcechowski Evaluations of the burst hazards of a rock bed and interpretations of seismic data are currently done manually, which precludes fast and reliable analysis of all valuable informa- tion. The Main Hining Institute (~I) of Poland in Ratowice is engaged In studies and develop- ment of a system of automatic analysis of seismic data using modern computer equipment pro- duced in COMECON-member nations. The system includes hardware for recognition, {solation, and analysis of the parameters of a meaningful seismic signal (event), a device for seismic signal transmission, and automatic data compression system with peripheral devices, and a computer for data analysis and storage. The software meets the follo~rlng requirements: i) registration and 9rocesslng of each meaningful signal is automatic; 2) the reliability of meaningful signal detection is not less than 80Z; 3) the program identifies the meaningful signal against the background of In- dustrial noise (caused by mining machines, transport vehicles, and other sources); &) on- llne real-time data processing is available. These requirements are indispensable for auto- matlc recording and TI - An automatic system for seismic data analysis for evaluation of the burst hazard of a rock bed JF - Journal of Mining Science DO - 10.1007/BF02515208 DA - 2006-08-31 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/an-automatic-system-for-seismic-data-analysis-for-evaluation-of-the-AZ13ZVYZFW SP - 230 EP - 232 VL - 20 IS - 3 DP - DeepDyve ER -
