For automatic evaluation, the robot transports parts to the optoelectronic viewing station where the im­ age is evaluated by an image processing computer which is criterion adjustable. The compounds are then sorted into "accepted" or "rejected" parts. The "accepted" parts are then subject to a fully automatic ultrasonic test.
