Sensors in the SensorHand can detect changes in an object's weight or center of gravity and then transmit the data to a microprocessor that automatically adjusts the hand's grip force. Thermal therapy system Tempra Technology, Inc., has introduced a thermal therapy system featuring hot and cold instant gelling packs. The packs get and stay warmer and colder than other packs and deliver penetrating moist thermal therapy on demand. When combined with Tempra's reusable moistened wraps, these portable hydrocollators provide soothing, penetrating thermal therapy for 30–45 minutes to help speed the healing process and reduce pain.
