AB - Book Reviews 871 another television series; others focus upon a significant and memorable media event, such as “Focus on the SpongeBob”; and still others are particularly well grounded in theory, such as “The Rhetoric of Sexual Experimentation.” In fact, a reader’s favorites are likely to be determined by her or his own interests; if a reader has never watched Glee, for example, it is unlikely that she or he will be drawn to the two essays that address its impact and widespread appeal. In short, readers will scan the titles and determine whether or not the collection complements their general interests or specific research areas. As with all valuable anthologies, libraries will no doubt purchase Queer Media Images, as they did Queer Love in Film and Television: Critical Essays, edited by Pamela Demory and Christopher Pullen and also published in 2013.
