TY - JOUR AU - Ulyanov, V. A. AB - A CO2-laser-based apparatus with feedback for automated precision evaporation of biological tissues has been developed. Precision layer-by-layer evaporation is carried out using a galvanometric scanner inside a predefined zone, which can be of any shape, specified by a computer. The apparatus makes it possible to record the autodyne signal and its derivatives (signal power and weighted average frequency in a given frequency range) during the evaporation process and simultaneously record the evaporation process using a digital microscope. The apparatus can be used for research and development of new approaches to precision low-trauma laser operations using robotic surgical systems with feedback.
