TY - JOUR AU1 - Liu, Rongchao AU2 - Li, Yanxi AB - With the continuous development of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technology, intelligent access control systems, as an important component of security management and convenient living, have received more and more attention and applications. This study aims to implement the architecture of an intelligent access control system based on WLAN technology and conduct in-depth research on its performance in terms of security, reliability, and practicality. Firstly, a literature review was conducted to summarize and analyze the research achievements of existing WLAN intelligent access control systems, providing necessary background knowledge for the research. Subsequently, through requirement analysis, the goals and functions of the system design were clarified, including access control, user authentication, remote management, and other aspects. In the system design phase, this study proposes a WLAN based intelligent access control system architecture, which includes components such as access control terminal devices, servers, databases, and mobile clients. In terms of technology selection, WLAN communication technology, security authentication method, and database management system that are suitable for system requirements were selected. In order to verify the system performance, a series of experiments and tests were conducted in this study. The results show that the designed WLAN intelligent access control system exhibits good performance in response time, security, and stability. In terms of security, the system adopts measures such as data transmission encryption and user identity authentication, effectively preventing potential security risks.
