Usvitskii UDC 666.1.031.24 Investigations of the glass-making schedules and practical experience with multiburner tank furnaces show that the prescribed distribution of the heat loadings over the length of the furnace's melting section is usually very difficult to achieve since it is necessary to regulate the consumption of fuel and the fuel-air ratio. With existing systems of sequential distribution of the fuel from the main pipelines arranged at the sides of the furnace, the various consumption levels at the burners proves to be inter-related since a change in the demand for fuel at one burner causes a redistribution of the pressure in the various sections of the main pipeline. There is an even closer relationship between the consumptions of air fed to the furnace burners through the sectional regenerators, since the demand for air by the burner is determined not only by the pressure in the channel connecting the leading valve with the subchecker chambers, but the drop in temperature over the height of the regenerator. In the case of the forced delivery of air through the flue-air valves it TI - Automatic control system for combustion cycles at each burner in a tank furnace JF - Glass and Ceramics DO - 10.1007/BF00675354 DA - 2004-11-05 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/automatic-control-system-for-combustion-cycles-at-each-burner-in-a-2g0y0W4CMM SP - 505 EP - 507 VL - 30 IS - 8 DP - DeepDyve ER -
