High-frequency apparatus of both methodological and through action are employed by in- dustry. An IT-1500/8 induction furnace (see Fig. i), which is completely mechanized and which ensures stability of the heat-treatment regime, is used at the Zlatoustovsk Metallurgi- cal Plant for different purposes - hardening, normalization, and annealing.
