The text is divided into nine parts that deal with every aspect of malignant disease of the breast, including etiology and risk factors; breast imaging by mammography, ultrasound, thermography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance; screening; surgical therapy; adjuvant che- motherapy; and psychosocial aspects of breast cancer. Each chapter is written by authorities in the field. The organization of the text follows the same logical sequence of the meetings themselves, beginning with the natural history of the disease and followed by aspects of detection, diagnosis, and therapy. Each article is amply referenced with upto-date source material, which allows the reader an in-depth review of any topic. The tables, graphs, and breast images are of the cover benign fibrocystic change. Although several articles touch upon some mammographic findings of breast carcinoma, this book is
