AB - Abstract A monogenetic dominant leaf mutant derived from the common bean stock, FF 336, is described. In homozygous condition the dominant allele has deleterious effects that prevent reproduction. The heterozygote usually segregates 2 lanceolate-leaf to 1 normal-leaf plant although aberrant ratios such as 3:1 and 1:1 also may occur.
