There are several things that must be considered in determining the success of a blasting activity, including the fragmentation of rock resulting from blasting, because if the rock fragmentation resulting from blasting is too large (boulder), then secondary blasting or blasting will be carried out to reduce the rock chunks to form rock fragmentation of the appropriate size. with subsequent work, and secondary blasting causes additional costs, therefore the blasting process must be in accordance with the planning target and avoid additional cost. In this research, a comparative study of blasting costs using electronic detonators and non-electric detonators was carried out. There are several fixed parameters used by PT TSS, namely burden 2.5 m, spacing 3.3 m, drill hole diameter 4 inches and 3.5 inches, blast hole depth 7 m, vertical drilling direction, Staggered Patten drilling pattern, charging system Bottom priming + booster with limestone.
