Abstract The title compound 3 was prepared starting from the keturazole 1 by Wittig reaction and subsequent oxidative hydrolysis of the urazole 2 . It crystallizes monoclinically in the space group P 2 1 / a with a = 1076.4(4), b = 1120.5(4), c = 1039.9(4) pm, β = 116.89(3)° and Z = 4.
