Yemen 1 CONSTITUTIONAL LAW 1.1 Boundaries of administrative duties Republican Resolution No. 23/19981 in connection with certain changes in the boundaries of the administrative division in the Republic introduced the following: (a) two new provinces (muhafazat) have been established: Al-Dhala' and 'Imran; (b) certain districts have changed jurisdiction from some provinces to others, with a view to put an end to the former boundaries between ex-north Yemen and ex-south Yemen. Al-Dhala' province includes the following districts: (a) Al-Dhala' (the centre of the province); (b) AI-Shu'aib; (c) Al-Hussain; (d) Jihaf; (e) Al-Azarek; (f) Al-Hasha; (g) Damt; (h) Qa'tabah; and (i) Juban. Provinces (a) to (e) are in ex-south Yemen and (f) to (i) are in ex-north Yemen. 'Imran province consists of nineteen districts, all of them in ex-north Yemen and a few from other provinces, e.g. Hajjah.
