Editorial A lot of things changed since the last issue.This summer our chairman Sjef van Erp married his teaching-collegue Trix Jacobs. They had met during a studytrip the Tilburg Foreign Law Review organised in the autumn of 1995, to the United States of America. Mr. Van Erp has also become professor at Maastricht University. This transfer meant that we had to look for a new chairman. Mrs. Adrienne De Moor-Van Vugt happily accepted the vacant seat of Chairman of the Tilburg Foreign Law Review Foundation. On a diner to honour the works of our former chairman he was appointed Honary Member. Our editorial staff also saw some changes. Mrs. Zaira Penders graduated from our law faculty and took up a study in Paris. From this position we want to thank her for the years in which see devoted much of her time and energy in running the Tilburg Foreign Law Review. Toon Roelofs also left our staff as he is working towards graduation. His chearfull prescence will be missed by us all. Both editors-in-chief have worked in our team during difficult times and we can now work towards extending their "heritage". As both editors-in-chief left, we had to fill in the vacancies. Mr. Dirk Lamers and Mr. Richard Steenvoorde took over the posts of editors-in-chief. And we welcomed a new member to our board: Alex Errades. We hope he will enjoy working in our team. Starting from volume 7, the Tilburg Foreign Law Review will be styled in a new lay-out. In this issue again, four excellent articles about the problem of nationalist violence in the Basque Country (Spain), Good Governance in the Dutch Realm, minorities in liberal democracy and the third part of Luis Osollo's article about California's Unitary Method.
