Taguugsankiindigung - Call for Papers Salomo in Schlesien. Eine Tagung zum 400. Geburtstag Friedrich von Logaus 2005 9.-12. luni 2005, SchloB Kamien Slaski, bei Opole Organisation: Sabine Seelbach, Thomas Althaus, Maria Katarzyna Lasatowicz und Ulrich Seelbach in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Instytut Filologii Germanskiej der Uniwersytet Opolski und dem Institut fUr Deutsche Philologie II der Westfalischen Wilhelms-Universitat Mtinster Friedrich von Logau ist der wichtigste deutschsprachige Epigrammatiker des 17. lahrhunderts. Seine mehr als "Drey Tausend" "Sinn-Getichte", Kurzsatiren, Gelegenheitsgedichte, Devisen und lyrischen Bemerkungen sind ein Thesaurus kritisch reflektierten Wissens seiner Zeit. DaB Logau trotzdem nicht zu den 'groBen Schlesiem' des Barock gezlihlt wird, hat vor aHem mit dem FehlschluB von der kleinen Form dieser Texte auf das weniger Bedeutende des Werks zu tun. - Die Tagung will auf den SteHenwert Logaus anHilllich seines 400. Geburtstages neu aufmerksam machen. Die Beitrage soHen das Epigrammwerk als Knotenpunkt literarischer und philosophischer Traditionen, wissensgeschichtlicher und kulturgeographischer Beztige zu erkennen geben.
