The panel was chaired by Dr. Christopher Seton-Watson, historian and younger son of Robert W. Seton-Watson. It included Miss Joan Stevenson, niece of H. Wickham Steed; Mrs. Sylvia F. Crane, widow of the late John Oliver Crane, formerly secretary to President Masaryk; and two of Masaryk's granddaughters, Mrs. Herberta Masarykova and Dr. Anna Masarykovi, both residents of Prague.
