Lepidopterologisk Forening The Lepidopterological Society of Copenhagen "Lepidopterologisk Forening" was founded in 1941 in Copenhagen. Its aim is to extend and increase the knowledge of Danish Lepidoptera, mainly by publications on moths and butterflies. The Society has about 500-mainly Danish- members but also many foreign lepidopterists have joined us. Members receive free of charge our journal "Lepidoptera" which appears twice a year, each issue containing 32-40 pages almost exclusively written by our members. The articles deal with distribution, faunistics, breeding, technique, give keys to Danish species and forms, & C. The articles are generously illustrated by photo- graphs and drawings, sometimes also with colour plates. A list of our publications is given below. Collecting equipment is sold by the Society.
