The Zosteractinidae, a Nearctic family of millipedes (Diplopoda, Julida) <jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>The Zosteractinidae are resurrected as a valid family to accomodate Zosteractis interminata Loomis, 1943, Ameractis satis Causey, 1959, and A. chirogona n.sp. Evidence for the relationship between Zosteractis and Ameractis is presented. Supplementary notes on the morphology and distribution ofZ. interminata and A. satis are given and the vulvae are illustrated for the first time.
