Bird; Chapter 15: Plant Resistance to Nematodes, by J. A. Veech; Chapter 16: Mathematical Approaches to the Assessment of Crop Damage, by H. Ferris; Chapter 17: Nematicides; Mode of Action and New Approaches to Chemical Control, by D. J. Wright; Chapter 19: Microbial Control of Nematodes, by R. Mankau. Several authors have made an effort to provide new drawings or photographs (Chapters 2, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12) so that their articles do not unduly repeat what has already been published. E. GERAERT NOTICE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION ON ZOOLOGICAL NOMENCLATURE The Commission hereby gives six months' notice of the possible use of its plenary powers in the following cases, published in the Rulletin of Zoological Nomenclature, volume 39, part 1, on 11 I March 1982, and would welcome comments and advice on them from interested zoologists. Cor- respondence should be addressed to the Secretary, if possible within six months of the date of publication of this notice. Case No 2335 Indodorylaimus All & Prabha, 1974 (Nematoda, Dorylaimida): proposed designation of a type species by use of the plenary powers. R. V. MELVILLE ERRATUM In the paper by Curran and Hominick, Nematologica 27, 259-274 entitled "Description of Gastromermis metae n. sp. with an assessment of some diagnostic characters and species in Gastromermis" the column heading "A.
