Workshop VI Christ and the Plurality of Religions 188 Workshop VI Christ and the Plurality of Religions Our moderators were the Rev Dr Michael Amaladoss (India), Associate General of the Society of Jesus, Rome, and Prof. Dr Antonie Wessels of the Free University, Amsterdam. We were a diverse group . of 21 (3 women and 18 men) from the following countries: Nigeria, India, USA, Sweden, Canada, Belgium, France, Japan, Australia, Great Britain and the Netherlands. We also brought mission experience from Lesotho, Indonesia, Kenya, the Philippines, Egypt and the Lebanon. Our members included 3 current university professors and 1 retired, 2 editors of mission journals, 1 publishing editor of mission books and a convert from Buddhism. Roman Catholic, Ecumenical and Evan- gelical perspectives were all represented; sadly, we lacked members , from the Orthodox tradition. Process We had 5 sessions of one and a half hours each. In the first we introduced ourselves, our mission experience and our expectations for the workshop.
