Editorial Note

Editorial Note Editorial Note From the Executive Committee of IAMS Mission Studies, the journal of the International Association for Mission Studies (IAMS), is published two times a year ( June and November). Since the last issue appeared in November 2005, a few signi fi cant changes have taken place in the IAMS. We are deeply saddened by the demise of Dr. Arnulf Camps, one of the Honorary Lifetime Members and a founding member of our association. We thank Prof. Frans Wijsen for the obituary. Ruefully, with the publication of this obituary, we also remove Dr. Camp’s name from the list of Honorary Lifetime Members. The Executive Committee of IAMS met at the Overseas Ministries Study Center, New Haven, Connecticut (USA), from January 27 to 31, 2006. Regretfully, the Committee accepted the resignation of Dr. Darrell Whiteman, the President of IAMS who resigned for personal reasons. Dr. Philomena Mwaura, the Vice President, has been appointed as the President. The committee also appointed Dr. Jonathan Bonk, the North American representative, as the new Vice President. Among the various other decisions taken by the Executive, what may be of interest to most members was the report and resolution on the next IAMS conference http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Mission Studies Brill
