Editorial Note New Look, New Publisher With this issue Mission Studies takes on a new look and a new publisher. For the past four years the cover of our journal was a detail of a photograph of our earth taken from space – a design graciously contributed by the staff of Orbis Books in Maryknoll, New York, USA. This issue’s cover, however, reflects the fact that the publisher of Mission Studies is now Brill Publishers in Leiden, The Netherlands. As I said in my editorial for the second issue of 2003, the IAMS Secretariat, the officers and executive committee, and the Mission Studies editorial office look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration with Brill. Our journal started in the 1970s as a small newsletter; it developed soon, however, into a full-fledged journal under the editorships of Frans Ver- straelen, Joachim Wietzke and Horst Rzepkowski. When I became editor in 1997 the journal was one of the world’s major journals of missiology. Now, as a new editorial team prepares to take the reins, Mission Studies counts itself very fortunate indeed to have as its publisher such a tried and true firm as Brill. My hope is that the
