The Role of Treaties in the Contemporary International Legal Order <jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>The aim of this paper is to examine the role played by treaties in a diverse and diversifying international society. Through the course of the century, it has been suggested that treaties are the best means of law-making in the present world.
